Prayer

Pray – to intercede with or make petition to God.

Prayer should be an integral part of our lives, not just used in emergencies.  Even a simple “help” or “Thanks God” can be a profound prayer.

- Paul writes to the Christians at Philippi:  Don’t worry about anything, instead pray about everything.  Tell God what you need and thank Him for all He has done.                Philippians 4:6

 - James writes: “Are any among you suffering?  They should pray.  Are any cheerful?  They should sing songs of praise.  The prayer of the righteous is powerful and effective.”                    James 5:13

Prayer Chain – We have a prayer chain available to receive prayer requests seven days a week.  Whether the prayer concerns are for you, your family or someone else, they will be handled in a timely, confidential and caring way among prayer chain members.  To activate the prayer chain please call the church office at 262-5800 or Tracie at 262-3201.

E-mail Prayer Group – Prayers are e-mailed to those who wish to be a part of a prayer group.

Joys and Concerns – Each Sunday in worship, we include in our prayers all who have special requests – both joys and concerns.  Names are listed in the bulletin so worshippers may continue to pray at home and throughout the week.  To be included in the list please call the church office at 262-5800 or fill out a prayer request card.
