Seniors

No one retires from being a disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ.  While the form of our commitment may change, our calling to love and serve the Savior all our days is at the center of our ministry to senior adults at Joy.

Joyful Seniors – a group of senior members of Joy and their friends. The group meets the third Monday of the month at 10:00 am. The program starts with a light lunch and then the members enjoy various games and cards. Lively conservation and companionship are very evident. Special outings are available for members. These have and will include: nature trips, concerts, theater, religious conventions, and mystery trips with shopping opportunities………

Shut-In/Nursing Home Visitation: Bringing Holy Communion, the Word, and fellowship to those in our community who can no longer come to us.

Advise the Staff:  Your wisdom and knowledge gained through years is needed to plan for the future.  We not only welcome, but encourage your sharing your expertise with us.
