Educational Ministries

Christian education is an important part of who we are here at Joy.  In our educational ministries, we use a variety of approaches and resources in exploring the Bible and what it means to have a relationship with Jesus Christ.  So, whether you are 3 years old or 103, come join us in experiencing and learning about the Christian faith.

Nursery: Birth – 3 years old.  10:00am – 11:00am on Sundays.  Also available for other church events.

Sunday School: 3 yrs. – 6^th grade. Our educational hour is from 10:00am – 11:00am. Join us for fun singing, activities, and learning.

Seventh Shift: 7^th grade meets at 9:15 am Sunday Mornings with scheduled monthly activities.  We are always having fun!

Confirmation: 8^th – 9^th grade.  A time of exploring the faith by concentrating on Bible study, worship, service, and discipleship.  6:15pm – 7:30pm on Wednesdays.

Shepherds: 8^th – 12^th grade.  A great opportunity for our older youth to be role models for our younger youth in acting as helpers for Sunday school.

Vacation Bible School: PreK – 6^th grade.  A week of fun learning, games, and arts & crafts during the summer.  Older students can also be Jr. Leaders.

 High School Bible Study – 9^th – 12^th grade.  Learn more about the Bible and how the Bible can be useful in your life.
