Winter Fun Day
Winter Fun Day at Joy Lutheran, Sunday, February 12, 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Come for outdoor activities, crafts, games, hot cocoa. Invite your friends and neighbors. Youth Quake, March 23-25
A fun event for teens (8th through 12th grade) that focuses on God in our lives, speakers that share faith stories, break out sessions where we can go deeper in our faith, pizza, swimming pool...so much fun! Sign up on the Youth bulletin board or e-mail Christy. The cost is $152.00 (includes everything except meals); $50.00 deposit due before February 1.
Summer Mission Trip
Summer Mission Trip to Minneapolis, July 8-14 for students going in 9th through 12th grade and adults. Cost is $265.00 [includes transportation, lodging, meals (except 2), programming fees, work site materials]. We will be offering fundraisers for students. As always, if the cost is too much for your family, there are many people at Joy who give generously to help kids wanting to help others. We will be serving at many different organizations in the metro area. Anything from mopping floors, making a meal at a shelter, playing with kids at a shelter, helping move furniture, sorting donations...and much more. We will also have some fun too! Swimming, Stone Arch Bridge, sightseeing downtown, parks...and much more. E-mail or sign up on the Youth bulletin board!
